I am maintaining a few websites with FPSE 2002 on my
company's intranet and all of the sites have links to
excel files on them. At our particular location we are
behind an extra firewall and this requires me to have
secure websites (SSL certificates, port 443). We have
just recently discovered that the excel files will not
open properly when the file links are clicked on in the
browser and the excel files will not open properly in
front page when utilizing the https site. When the http
site is utilized everything is fine. Any suggestions?
What happens is when I try to open the file in fp I get
asked for a password again and sometimes I get in and
sometimes I do not. This is the same for the browser, we
get asked for a password and sometimes the file does not
open.
