Excel and the Clipboard

I have all the office patches and OS patches. I have MS Office Professional
2003. I have MS Office InfoPath 2003.

When I initally installed InfoPath (IPath) I didn't have any error or
anything of the like then I started to get errors from the clipboard when
using Excel. After so many copies I got "Cannot empty the clipboard" anyway
I didn't think much about it other than it was something gone wrong with the
program (excel).

After a while I was annoyed enough about the error to reformat the machine
and reload everything back into it and get all the patches for the machine.
Yes, IPath went into the machine as well. Excel was still generating the
same error after so many copies. This is the machine I work with so I was
trying to resolve the error flat out. It occured to the me that about the
time that I started to get the error I had just loaded IPath. I uninstalled
it... had to reboot, but still had the same problem. I repaired office and
the problem seems to be gone now.

I looked around MS Knowledge base and found some documents dating back to
Office97. Wondered if I was the only person to get this error? I may play
around with IPath more ... probably reinstall it then repair office... but
then again I am kind of behind my work because of the reformat.

Well maybe I spoke too soon... I couldn't get the error to come up. After
about 17 copies to the clipboard. I am getting the error again, without
InfoPath.
