Excel and Word unexpectedly Quit - because of Suitcase!

I am having the problem where Excel and Word both "unexpectedly quit"
after the splash screen appears. I did a search in this newsgroup and
tried some of the suggestions and nothing worked. Then I read that it
may be due to font management software. So, I quit out of Extensis
Suitcase and tried to start Word and Excel and they both start up
fine.

Is there a fix for this?? Am I going to have to quit out of Suitcase
before I am able to use Excel and Word??

I am on OS X version 10.2.8
Microsoft Office 10.1.5
Extensis Suitcase 11.0.2
