In a .xls file with seven command buttons on the first worksheet I
experienced a difficulty to select in design mode the command buttons. The
buttons remained in run mode firing the events on click. When, after numerous
tries, I succeed eventually in obtaining the design mode the active cells
start to winking from black to white. Often I succeeded in opening the
properties window, but when I tried to move the pointer to that window there
were a rapid change to properties window of the sheet holding the command
buttons. The VBA project eventually began corrupt ( Automation Error 440 on
opening the file: see the kind replay of Rob Bovey to my request of help of
03/04/05 ). I rebuilt completely the file as suggested but the phenomenon
described returned except the corruption of the project, but I didn’t check
the file can be opened without problems on another PC. Can I have more
information on this behaviour. I use Excel version 2003
