I am creating a dashboard of a variety of bar charts. I have linked
the charts to data validation lists, which show only the data of the
name selected from that list, compared to an average. No problems. My
issue is that there are 23 unique data series, and when selecting a
name from the bottom of the list, the bars on the chart almost
completely overlap, whereas bars for the names at the top of the list
are sufficiently offset. I have tried stacking the charts, but I cant
find a way that maintains the integrity of the information that should
be shown on the chart, as stacking it shows all data series, and it is
not aesthetically impressive.
Also, I am wondering if it is possible to have a bar chart linked to
two (2) different lists that would compare data for only the data
series that are selected in those lists. Essentially allowing the user
to pick two different data series to compare.
Any suggestions? Thanks for your time.
