Excel Book Index

I have compiled a book index in Excel from a PDF. (I attempted to conver thte
PDF to Word for indexing but the page numbers shifted, so that option doesn't
work. Plus, I've got all the info in Excel anyway.)

The file looks like this:

Jaws 4
Jaws 9
Jaws 12
E.T. 14
E.T. 17
Raiders 4
Raiders 13
Raiders 17

I need it to look like this:

Jaws 4 9 12
E.T. 14 17
Raiders 4 13 17

Is there a way to do this in Excel? Or Word? I'm on deadline and have 1400
entries so I'd prefer not to do manually.

I'm afraid your description doesn't disclose very much. Without any
indication of what versions of the programs you're using - you don't even
specify Mac or PC - or having any indication of what type of document you
want to produce the index in, it's rather difficult to offer any
suggestions. You'll need to be much more detailed, including how you
"attempted to conver thte PDF to Word" and what you mean by "page numbers
shifted".

Based on the source of your post I'm guessing that your working in a Windows
environment, but you've posted to the group for Excel on the Mac. If I'm
right you may find more immediate solutions if you post to one of the Win
Office groups;
