Excel: button in a cell?

I

Just a simple one... I found out how to put a button into an Excel workbook,
so that when you click it, it does something useful. Just out of interest...
is there a way to make the button automatically sit inside a particular
cell? Currently the button just goes where ever you put it, and once you
have several they look really messy just splattered all over the place. It
would be nice if they were inside cells. Is there a way?

Thanks.

(I'm using Excel 97, if that makes a difference.)

No, not really. A command button is placed in the drawing layer rather
than the worksheet layer. IOW, it is situated above the worksheet
layer and can not be placed "in" the worksheet layer. However if you
right-click the command button, select "Format Control", and select
the Properties tab you'll find some options for controlling the
positioning of the object which may help you out.
