Excel calling a Visio Macro

I have Excel modify Visio shape colors to represent stages of construction
over a time frame. The Excel macro thus creates several versions of the
Visio map in succession and I want to save each version so I have a set of
progression drawings. I have found the only way to get a clean jpg file from
the Visio page is to use a Visio macro (try as I may, any attempt to have
excel macro save it comes up corrupt). How do I call the Visio macro from
Excel?
