Excel Chart trendline problem

When adding a linear trendline to a data series in a chart, the trendline appears in the legend but not on the chart. I've done this many times before with no problems, and it's working fine on a chart on a separate tab within the same spreadsheet.

Has anyone else ever experienced this, and does anyone have a fix?
