I have been working on Excel for Mac for some time now and had been using customized colors that matched the colors of my company logo. All of a sudden, the "pick a color" section in grayed out and I am not able to customize my color any more. How do I restore this?

thank you

Which '"pick a color section"' are you referring to?

If one of the controls on the formatting palette, what is selected?

What do you see with Preferences/Colors - are you able to access/modify
colors there?
