Excel compatibilty between macs and PCs

I created templates in word on my mac for a client who is working on a
pc. The templates have excel worksheets pasted into them. When the
templates are opened in the pc world, the excel worksheets are all
screwed up, fonts, column widths, etc. I have a pc that i've been
testing these on, and i cant seem to get the excel docs to work,
without crashing the program. Every time i try and paste the excel
sheet back into the word doc, i get an error message. Does anyone know
what could be happening??

Hi Lauren,

It sounds like the Windows versions of Office need to have the service
updates installed. Also, be sure your copies of Office on the Mac are up
to date using the Help menu and the Check for Updates feature.

The windows users need to visit the office update web site and get their
products updated:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/
