Currently, Excel Conditional Formating does not seem to permit use of
wildcards '?' or '*' or 'Like' or 'contains' or 'does not contains' - it
would be good if they behaved in a similar way to the 'custom' option in
Drop-down auto filters.
.......'custom' in the drop down auto filters could also be slightly improved
by adding the 'between' option from the conditional formatting form.
......basically commonise the choices between conditional formatting & the
custom drop down filter to form a new list containing all the options from
both.
