Excel Conditional Formating

Is there anyway to add more than three conditional formats
to an excel spreadsheet.

Alan,

It requires a macro to have more than three conditional formats per cell.

This may or may not help. It's possible to use Conditional Formatting in
other cells based on the contents of the original cells. For example cells
in column B could be conditionally formatted based on the contents of column
A. They could be different conditional formats than those of column A.

Hi Alan,
The logical next step is to use an Event Macro when the three
Conditions per cell limit is too restrictive.

C.F. picks up changes due to formulas as well as manual changes
but it certainly has it limitation at 3 conditional formats per cell.
