Excel Crash on right click

Excel crashes if I right-click in the area to the right of all the columns. This is a shame because there are a lot of actions that can be taken at this level.

Hello Martyn -

That doesn't happen here - Control/Right-Clicking in that area not only
doesn't crash the program but it also produces no contextual menu because
that "space" isn't an active part of the application/file window. There's
nothing there to which a contextual menu would pertain - It's simply a
"backdrop" such as the gray space surrounding the "page" in a Word document
or PPt slide.

I've also tried that as well as Double-Clicking in the space below the last
row with the same results - no crash, no menu.

You might confirm that both OS X & Office are fully updated & that you've
repaired disk permissions. If that doesn't rectify the situation I'd
consider downloading & applying the OS X 10.5.4 COMBO update for Intel - the
function that appears to be causing the crash is an OS call.

What are you expecting to find there? I'm afraid I have no idea what your
second sentence refers to.
