excel crash when saving in html

I have an excel document made with the excel 2002 version.

Until one month ago, I could record it in HTML format
without any problem.

but now, Excel is not functioning any more (tested with
excel 2002 and 2003)

I've tried to find and delete the sheet which could cause
the crash, but without success


could you please provide me with a solution ?
