Excel crashed when trying to print

I have users running Excel 2003 and when they try to
print it randomly crashes. The PC will freeze and they
then need to reboot. Some have advised that if they
change from their default printer while they are in Excel
then the problem does not occur. Has anyone experienced
this before?

Guessing that the move to XL2003 may be an upgrade, try re-installing or
updating the print drivers, Excel has a terrible habit of screwing these up
when installed

Nick,
Tried that to no success. The only way I can get to print
from Excel is if I remove and reinstall the printer. I
have tried the detect and repair and reinstalling Excel.
The only solution is to reinstall the printer, however
the problem re-appears later on and I have to reinstall
the printer again. Any suggestions would be gratefully
accepted. Thanks
