Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Power PC Excel crashes during the calculations on start up of a database file with pivot tables. Then started crashing on launching any other files. Deleting the pref. folder fixed the second problem until I launched the problem file again. Unfortunately Time Machine has failed on backups so I only have the one copy of the important file. Please help. Here is the crash info:

update: The second time deleteing the pref folder did not allow other files to work. Holding down the shift key while launching did.
