Maye be someone else has experienced this problem; when working in Excel
2007, I have one particular chart that causes repreated program crashes (and
sometimes entire OS locks up, forcing a manual shut-down). The crashes only
occur when I attempt to add a chart title onto a bar chart, and only happen
when I start typing the title characters. One weird thing about this problem
is that the workbook where it happens has several other charts of the same
type in which I have already succeeded in adding the chart & axis titles
without incident. MS diagnostics have been run, and reported no problems
found. I've also tried several differnt ways to add the title (including
linking to an external cell contents) but always with the same result. Am
slowly going insane over this issue, as I never experienced naything like it
using Excel 2003. I do have a 3rd party add-in loaded (ASAP utilities), but
have worked with this in the past without incident, althouh not much with
Excel 2007 yet. Anyone reading this have any ideas?
