Excel crashes when applying formatting?

Excel 2007 crashes whenever I make text bold, underlined, or italics. I
uninstalled it (and am now running a trial), but the problem persists. Please
help!

Having the same problem, on a very simple spreadsheet! Have you discovered
anything? Is there any chance it is related to the printer you use???? I
have had another problem of crashing another simple sheet, and crashing when
I repeat lines on print document - all printer related functions!
I had traced one problem to the printer (HP Photosmart), and an HP
support person said they were working on it!!! After waiting a month, I
contacted them and they refuted that earlier statement??
Let me know of any resolution(s) please!
