Excel crashes when copying or cutting cells

When I do Ctrl+C or Ctrl+X, or even using the Edit menu to
copy, Excel crashes (Excel has generated errors.....).
Anybody have a fix for that? I tried copying the sheet by
sheet to a new book, but it's still the same issue.

Depends what version of XL you have. If it is XL 97, you may want to check
