Excel crashes when downloading templates

Running Excel 2000 on Windows 2000 network. When
downloading an Excel Template from Microsoft Office
Templates site I get "Excel.exe has generated errors and
will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the
program. An error log is being created. Downloads for
other office products work fine. Any ideas?
