excel crashes when editing embedded object

My worksheet is used as a shipping form. Embedded within my excel work sheet is a Word object. The object was created in MS Word and contains tables. These tables are used to enter the customers address. I used to be able to double click the object and was then able to enter information into the tables, but since my OS was upgraded to Windows XP, the application crashes and sends up an error report notification box. Can anyone help?

This is because of the upgrade - OLE version as changed. You will need to make a new embedded object with the new version of software
