Excel crashes when launching Pivot Table.

I am using Microsoft Excel 2000. Everytime when I try to create a pivot
table, irregardless how little the data is, (minimum 3 rows, 3 columns),
Excel jush crash. I am running on Windows XP, Office 2000 Small Business
Edition. I have tried Help, Detect and Repair and Repair Office from the
Office CD and it does not help.
