Hi all,
I'm having a bit of a problem with a pivot table. It is currently
calculating the data 'as a % of row' and works perfectly.
Unfotunately it is possible for a user to make selections in the page
fields such that no data is displayed. If this happens, XL crashes.
I think this is something to do with the fact that the data in the
Grand Total column disappears (along with everything else) and I know
pivots don't like it if you try and claculate 'as a % of row' without
a Grand Total column.
Has anyone else come across this and is there anyway to
programatically stop a user making selections in the page fields, i.e.
if page field A = "Red" and the user attempts to select pagefield B
="Black", then the selection will be automaticall reverted to a
compatiable selection before everything crashes.
Any help much appreciated.
