I'm using Excel 2003 and IE6 (although I've verified that this still happens
with IE7).
I have a spreadsheet with a WebBrowser control on it. When one of the form
elements on the web page within the WebBrowser has focus, Excel crashes when
you switch to a different sheet.
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a blank spreadsheet
- Switch to design mode in the Control Toolbox
- Add a Microsoft Web Browser control to the page
- Add a command button to the page
- In the click event for the button, add:
WebBrowser1.Navigate "www.msn.com"
- Get out of design mode and click the button
- Click in the text box at the top of the web page
- Switch to Sheet2 or Sheet3
- Excel will throw an error
I've tested on two computers (Windows XP SP2 with latest updates as of
yesterday) with the same results. Have also tried using Navigate2 instead of
Navigate.
Thanks,
Kyle
