Excel Crashing on Formatting

I have a clean install of Office 2007 Ultimate SP2 on Win 7 with latest
updates. When I open a new or existing worksheet in a new or existing
workbook, and then click any of the formatting buttons on the Home ribbon,
Excel Crashes. The same thing occurs when formatting is applied through
macros.

Any idea what is going on here?
