Excel crashing when switching networks

Over the last year or so, I've noticed that Excel 2004 will always
crash if it is open when I switch from one network to another (e.g.
from a wireless network to a wired network or to another wireless
network). Has anyone else seen this?

crash if it is open when I switch from one network to another (e.g.
from a wireless network to a wired network or to another wireless
network). Has anyone else seen this?

Apparently the problem only occurs when your worksheet is stored on the
network drive. I also experienced the exact same problem and now i save the
sheet on my desktop before changing networks.
