Excel crashing

I have a end-user running Excel 2003 her respondsibility is to put numbers
into cells to be calculated. The file she is working in right now is 1.05mb
and it will get larger. This is one of the problems when it goes to autosave
it will freeze and close down or she would have to do a hard shutdown. It
also will happen randomly where it will shutdon on it's own. I have told her
to keep a look at the time this happens next so I can look at her event log
to see what else is going on but is there something else that I can be doing
or should do to resolve this issue. Please help or shoot me some
ideas...Thanks

Sounds like a corruption in the file. Check out the options I listed here:
