Excel Custom Toolbar Not Saved

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I am running both Office 2004 and 2008 (this is missing features, so I must have both on my Mac).

After customizing my toolbar in Excel 2008, it disappears the next time I close and reopen the program. The custom toolbar does not save.

Open a blank workbook in Excel. Customize the toolbar in Excel how you want it. Then save the file as a Excel template named "Sheet" in Programs/Microsoft Office 2008/Office/Startup/Excel folder. Your preferences and toolbars should remain every time you use Excel.
