Have designed a form with the Excel data tracking
template - which is connected to an Access 2002
database. Details are input into the form, and are then
stored as a new record in the database. The Excel doc.
is then emailed to an engineer, who fills in further
information and returns it by email. On receipt, the
Excel doc. is opened, and the database record updated
with the revised information.
Most of the time, this works fine. However, we are
having instances where the Access record is not being
updated with the received information.
Any ideas would be gratefully received! (For interest,
the only reason we are using Excel for the forms is to
that a) it can be emailed and b) the recipient can enter
information into it and return it by email.)
