We are having the same problem using data in an Excel XP
spreadsheet as the data source for a mail merge to a form
letter. The data includes names and a decimal value, such
as 10.398. The numeric data comes over as 10.398754 or
other variations. Same decimal problem as you are
experiencing. We had used this data format for years in
mail merging from excel 97 to a form letter with no
problems. We just upgraded to office xp. Have you
received any solutions to your question and problem?
