Hello,

I am working in Mac OS 10.3, Excel X. I am working with a large list, and want to delete many of the entries. Is there a way to tell excel to delete a row of data if a cell in that row contains a certain value

Thanks!

Sure. I do it all the time.
I do it this way:
I first apply auto-filters to the header row I have. THen you can select
the pull down menu from the column that has the values you want to
filter. In the pull down menu you can apply a custom filter to display
only the rows that correspon to your criteria, select the rows and
delete them.
