Excel databases

I am currently trying to sort a database in excel with no luck. I a
trying to filter out any fields which do not contain a certain code e
Z14. this code is within a misc. column in the sheet. The purpose o
this is to enable the use of macros within the spreadsheet.I have trie
almost everything with no success.Help

Select all your data and go Data>Autofilte
click the drop down arrow on the field that should contain Z14 and choose custo
Choose "Does Not Contain" from the left side dropdown and enter Z14 in the right side - this should then filter all rows where there is not a Z14 in the Misc column - you canthen just select all the rows (except the header) and delete 'em
