Excel - Date/Number

I would like to be able to have the 'date' automatically
update itself whenever I open the document. Like if my
fax coversheet was in excel and every time I opened it the
date would change to the current date. I don't know if
this is possible. If you have any tips that would be
wonderful. Thanks.

try this.

insert-->function-->date.

if you need to reformat the date (e.g., 6/21/03 v. June
21, 2003), go to format-->cells.

Hi..put your cursor in the field where you want you date
and type =now(). This will keep the date current. Hope
this helps..Edie
