excel document navigation sticky with OSX

Excel for Mac OSX 10.2

Has anyone come across this?

Whenever I try to scroll up or down within a document, there is a two
second delay before the action takes place. Also applies if say a cell
is moved and other common actions. Once the action takes place the
application is fine until there is another pause with keyboard/mouse.
This still happens with the Autosave off.

Have you...
* Installed the service releases?
* Used Disk Utility First Aid to repair permissions?

If yes, how much RAM is installed on your computer? What processor speed do
you have?
