Excel encountered a problem...

I have a secretary who says she gets the message randomly that excel has
encountered a problem and must close. Once she clicks don't send or
send, a new workbook opens.

AppName:Excel.exe AppVer.11.0.8237.0 AppStamp: 48eff43b
ModName: mso.dll ModVer: 11.0.8221.0 ModStamp: 483c699a
fDebug: 0 Offset: 001f1301

I've looked through Google and Microsoft's Support Database, but
nothing quite fits the problem. Have tried the repair and someone else
went through an uninstall/reinstall.

Any ideas appreciated.

You may need to perform both disk and RAM diagnostics. I'd guess some
required Excel DLLs are stored on iffy disk sectors.

There could also be interoperability issues between Excel and other
software your secretary is using at the same time.

If you bought Office bundled with this PC and also purchased a support
contract, Office may be covered under the support contract.
