Excel Error "Subscript out of range"

D

Don Couvillion

I get this error message each time I start Excel 2000.
"Subscript out of range"

This is when starting Excel before opening any file. When I clear the
message I get the normal blank spreadsheet and every thing works fine. The
error does not seem to really mean anything.

How can I put a stop to this annoyance?
