Excel Error

Hello,

I'm using Office XP with Windows 98SE. When I open Excel, I get an error
message," C:\ProgramFiles Documents to Go\DVZXLAddin.xla could not be
found." I know why this is happening: I moved the Documents to Go folder to
my D drive, but Excel is on my C drive. What do I need to change to stop
getting this message? Is there a problem with having the two in different
partitions? Thank you.

Sounds as if the addin was installed to that file folder. Either move it
back, or at least create a new "documents to go" folder in the same
place it was before and put the *.XLA file back in it.

I don't understand. I just searched and found that the *.XLA file is in the
Documents to Go folder, on the D drive, where it's supposed to be. When you
say, "move it back," do you mean move the Documents to Go back to the C
drive? I purposely moved it to make more room on C.

Your other suggestion was to create a new documents to go folder on the C
drive. If I do that, can I only put the *.XLA file in it? And if so, do I
then also need a copy on the D drive?? Isn't there a way to just find the
file/line in a file that's pointing to the wrong drive and change it? I just
don't know what that would be. . .
