Excel error

Often when I enter anything in a cell I get the following
error missing blkmap 1.0 type library

and click ok twice and everything is ok

But this only goes away for a short time if I close and
re-open excel

Help please

Try this

Press Alt+F11 to get to the VBA editor. In that screen click Tools, References. Have a look to see if there's anything in that list marked as "missing". If there is, then untick it

You can then close the VBA editor. Hopefully that should resolve the problem! (You might need to close and re-open your workbook though.
