Excel.exe crash

I use excel for my companys estimating system. Recently I
setup the system using the sharing option for worksheets.
This should allow several estimators to work on worksheets
simultaneously. However, I have found that when the
worksheet is in the shared mode, if you copy an entire
line and paste it, then try to save the worksheet, excel
completly shuts down and I get the error
message "excel.exe has generated errors and will be
closed...."

This is disastrous for us. Any thoughts on why this
occurs and how it can be prevented? Thank you.
