Excel.exe creates an error...as soon as I try to save or copy the data on a file

Hi All,

Request help on fixing a strange problem which I'm facing
only in case of one of the excel file on my machine. I see
a message that "Excel.exe has created an error and the
error log has been created"...and I'm not able to work on
this file anymore. I tried creating a copy and renaming
it, but, nothing has worked. Any help will be highly
appreciated. Thanks in advance,

Hi Manish!

Sounds like a corrupted file.

What version of Excel are you using.

Excel 2002 and 2003 are much better at opening these files.

Hi Manish!

You can send the file to me and I'll try it on Excel 2003 if you
haven't got a 2002 or 2003 accessible.

You might also try it on Open Office:
