As you've discovered - the Outlook import/export wizard does not include a
full list of available fields (nickname being one of those not included).
Outlook imports/exports a little over 80 fields (our field list for
importing & exporting runs somewhere around 110+ which still isn't a totally
complete list but does cover just about every mainstream field).

This somewhat stumps me since there is a "Nickname" field in Contacts on
Outlook when I open up a contact and go to the "Details" tab. Wouldn't
that
suggest that the field should be available for importing from another
file?

After furious head scratching, maril asked:
| In my Excel (2003) worksheet I have a "Nickname" column which I would
| like imported into my Outlook (2003 Pro Edition) contacts. When I get
| to Map Custom Fields dialog box, there is no Nickname field in the
| TO: Microsoft Outlook Contacts section. Is there a way to add this
| somewhere?
|
| Any help is really appreciated!!
