Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
We are running Leopard and Office 2004. For 1 user, Excel does not give the message "file is reserved by xxx, read-only, notify, cancel" when opening a file that is already in use.
Files are on the server, the only difference I can think of is that the user with the problem is admin of his Mac, while the others are not.
For all other users, with same configuration, an already open Excel files displays the correct "in use" message.
Something in the preferences?
