Problem.
1. Take any earlier version .xls file. Open it and saveas .xlsx - OK
2. Open Excel 2007. Enter some data saveas .xls and close - OK
3. Open file from above try to saveas .xlsx or .xlsm. Excel crashes
Was going to ask question about this problem coming from inability to save
other than
FileFormat:=Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.XlFileFormat.xlWorkbookNormal in
VB.Net without a crash. This seems more fundamental but is similar.
I installed Office 2007 Pro over existing Office XP Pro i.e. no re-install
but install in place to convert all settings for Outlook etc.
Is this the source of my problems?
Was garbage left behind that needs removing?
