Excel file gets corrupt if saved in one particular drive

I have one Excel file. When i try to save this file in shared drive (L:) the
file gets corrupt.
The strange part is that, when i save that file in some other location like
Desktop or any other Drives, it works fine, There is a problem only with this
particular file saving it in this particular L:

what could be the reason?

I have no idea...

But if you save to your local C: drive, then use windows explorer to copy to
that offending L: does that work ok?

Maybe it's some sort of timing issue--is the L: a LAN (truly local) or a WAN
(Wide area (not close physically) drive?

Maybe your slice of the shared drive is full?

When this has happened to me, I get an error message while I was trying to
save. I would hope that's what would happen to anyone who has this problem.
