Excel file with links and formulas cannot be opened using 2010 excel version

I have one excel file containing formulas and links which are saved using office 2003, recently we just upgraded to 2010 office and that specific file is not opening at all. no errors being prompted. Anyone who can help me solve this issue? Thanks in advance.
