Excel Files or Shortcuts dont open when clicked.

Hi everyone..

My Excel files and shortcuts wont open when double clicked.
If it is a local file EXCEL opens but no file
If it is a network file the " file not found" error appears thats even if i
am double clicking the actual file.

I have access and rights to the domain and am the owner of all EFS files.

If I open Excel and select " open " and navigate to either the file or the
shortcut then it opens no problem.

I have run the excel repair installation and I ahve run the MS Office
update.. all seems good.

Any advice.
