Excel files

Is it possible that you are saving your Excel file in a
location that already has an existing copy of that file.
If you do, it will automatically place a "copy of" in
front of your file name.

Yes, I am just saving the spreadsheets after updating
data. The message "The file 'xxxxx.XLS' already exists.
Do you want to replace the existing file?" appears as in
previous editions. But it saves a copy instead of the
original file. Sometimes it brings up a message that the
file may have been changed by another user. I am the only
user.
