Excel for Mac

Processor: Power PC

I use Excel to generate requisitions and I have two questions.

1. If I have vendor names and addresses on one worksheet in this workbook, can I put a vendor name in a "name" cell on a separate worksheet (tab), by drop down list or straight entry, and have the remaining address fields fill in automatically for that vendor?

2. Can I use the data entered in the requisition sheet to create a new record in a LIST in another sheet and auto copy pertinent data from the req. into this new record (row of cells)?

Thank you for any advise. Pete P.

Absolutely - drop-down lists can be generated using Data Validation, and
fill-in can be accomplished using VLOOKUP()

You'd need to use a macro (XL04) or Applescript (XL08) to do this.
