Excel forgets page formatting

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
Processor: Intel

It seams that every time I open my XLSX files, I have to reformat the sheet to print properly. When working on a PC, I would set the page formatting and it would be saved with the file. That does not seem to be happening on my Mac. Is there a setting that I need to change?
